"First I would like to thank you for the best reading material on our breed that I have ever purchased. I have read it cover-to-cover four times, just in case I missed something. It really made me view myself as a beginner, and I am not ashamed to say that even after being in the sport for 6 years. For the first time, I have a real plan as to where I want to go with this beautiful breed. This book answers a lot of questions that beginners are afraid to ask and young veterans like myself were too proud to admit they didn't know. I am looking to pick up the A.I. Video later this week and hopefully in the not too distant future a good prospect."

"How's it going? I have been analyzing and studying the way you do your breedings. Every breeding has a purpose and genetic goal in mind. Keep up the classes, I'm learning all the time."

"Ive talked with you before...Im on your testimonials page. Brandon from 4Life kennels. I've been using your conditioning regimen for the last couple years and have six first place trophies using it. God knows your book helped me a hundred times in the past. People dont know thier stations in life. I know you know what the hell your talkin about and I choose to listen to and go by what you write and suggest. U have forgot more about dogs than they will ever know...but let em be hard headed, gets em no place. Happy holidays to you and yours."

"You are a wonderful writer. I would love to talk on the phone one day if you have time. I know without question you have a lot of knowledge, and I am not new, but I am not dumb enough to think I know it all either. I really enjoy reading your articles online."

"i doubt we have ever talked but i to have once been caught up in trying to educate the uneducated on these boards. it is very hard for someone that is intelligent to get anything across to someone who is not or does not care to hear what is being said. i took alot of classes on ethics and logic so i clearly understand what you are saying to everyone. i know that almost all great political thinkers went against the norm. i am not saying that i have agreed with every post that you have written but i could clearly see your point in your posts."

"'Heart or Style' was another great article, Jack. You never cease to impress me. I honestly can't even begin to tell you how much I've learned from you over the past few years. Two words: F---ing brilliant. I'll be ordering your book in the next couple days or so; I'm looking forward to some good educational reading. Would you mind if I posted your article on the online museum www.pitarchive.org? We're also looking for other significant individuals for our board of advisors. Tom Garner, Dr. Anna Grimshaw, from Emory University in Atlanta, and Terry Williams (AADR) are already members of the board, and I'd be honored to have you as a fourth. I'd be happy to provide you with any and all details. I'll be eagerly awaiting your response. Thanks, and once again, great article!"

"Hello John, This is Bill friend of Ed Centers down here in NC. My wife ordered me your book and what I have read so far is good honest truth something you hardley find anymore in a book about the true gamedogs and their health. I am saving most of the reading for Iraq that way I have something to pass the time with. Well, just wanted to say thanks for sharing helpful info with us in your book and it is an asset to any and all doggers that give a hoot about their dogs. Respectfully,"

"Thanks for the book, it is worth every penny. Your diet help me get a Best In Show out of my Boudreaux bred dog and for a Boudreaux bred dog that is extremely good! Some of the information wasn’t NEW to me but about 90% of the information made me realize that I am still an amateur and have a lot left to learn. Thanks Again Best Regards."
~ Troy "Cajun" Guillory

"I got (your book) yesterday, and I've just about read through it all. (I couldn't put it down!) I really enjoyed your introduction and prelude in which you clearly state the condition of the breed and define for all those not familiar with the APBT the background and standards for which they were bred. It's important in my opinion for the animal rights whacko's to understand our breed and why they were bred. Although I don't think that the PETA types will ever open their minds to this sort of true understanding I appreciate your attempt at such a thing and you have made as good an explanation as anyone on this issue. I think that your fundamental views on the handling and rearing of the dogs are very refreshing. I also have witnessed many people forgetting that these animals are just dogs and they totally need and thrive on ourlove and commitment to them. These dogs, as you so clearly state, are not machines and their spirits are directly tied to the bond that theyform with their owners. I agree with your opinion that a dog that has been raised with love and commitment from their owner and has a strong bond with them can be a very determined dog. A lot of people underestimate the value of forming a strong bond with your dog. A dog, especially an APBT can be trained to do a lot of amazing things if they have a strong bond with their master. These things are what I enjoyed most of all from your book so far. None of the things I have stated were particularly new, but it was very nice to hear them from someone who's so established with the breed. I also think that your medical, information is very valuable, as well as the general advice on housing and keeps. All in all its an excellent book, and I imagine I will be referring to it for years to come. It truly is a great field guide so to speak on the correct and proper way to care for and raise our wonderful breed. Thank you again, and I'm sure I'll be in touch in the future."

"I must say there are very few people in this game that I have grown to appreciate the things that are said as much as I have you. You are articulate and witty--traits that most of these dogmen can not compete with. I certainly want to get a copy of your book. I recently saw 2 dogs down from your stuff, exactly how I am not sure, the guy only said Vise-Grip/ red boy crosses. However they were really smart and beautiful. I liked them both. Anyway i see you are selling most of your stock. i hope you are not getting out, there are not enough seriuos breeders left. One day the game will be left to the unteachable and the families of dogs will be gone. I have very few dogs and the occasion to bred lends itself to breedings that I have waited sometimes 1-2 years to make. But, I must at some point obtain some of your blood to cross into my stock. I take breeding so serious as I know you do, and I think the combination of your Bolio to my Zebo would make dogs worth betting on. In my older years I have found myself wanting to make crosses with my stuff, but only quality blood not BS street lines. We must make a point to visit or chat. Maybe if you are not too busy, my wife and I come up to see the dogs and lay some plans down. I know how visits can be sometimes more of a pain in the ass. I know your time is as valuable as mine, but I always enjoy true fanciers. There is just not enough around. Hit me back and if thing work out that we can work together great and if the situation does not come up I wish you well in whatever you partake. I have enjoyed your posts. YIS."

"Hey Mr. Jack, I would like to say I have enjoyed going thru your web site, It was really an eye opening site that will draw me back to it in the near future. I'm a greenhorn with these animals but I have a true love for them. After visiting your site and viewing your animals my love for them have grown even more."

"My name is Chris S. I have been a customer of yours since ordering the "2004 Indispensable Tips" Book. I was just getting started in the dogs at that time, and the book was very helpful in getting things off the ground. I learned to better care for my dogs, and there is no telling how much money I saved using that information. I avoided many of the mistakes I see newcomers to this breed make, and I thank you for that. I updated with the 2006 version, bought the 'Healthy Bulldog' magazines, and the A.I. Instructional Video. Everything I've purchased from you has been money well spent. Earlier today I was reading your post on Pedigrees Online about Leishmaniasis. It was very informative, and I appreciate the heads up. I know you catch a lot of hell on the message boards from people with nothing better to do with their time, and the thread turned into more of the same old thing. It made me sick that you took the time to research and post that information, and some of the usual suspects still tried to turn the thread into a pissing contest. I found it sad that you did that for us, and these people couldn't find it in themselves to just say, "THANKS!" Anyway, I thought the least I could do was take a few minutes and thank you for everything you have done for me, my dogs, and the Bulldog fraternity in general. There are some people out here who appreciate it."

"Hi Jack, Man I never met you and I know you don't know me but I just wanted to say I have nothing but the up most respect for you and your dogs and all the knowledge you have when it comes to our breed. I think you're a f---ing GENIUS when it comes to these dogs. I read an article you wrote the other nite in a copy of this mag that a guy in my area puts out called 'The Performance A.PB.T." (WINTER 2006 issue) and the article was called 'The Hardcore Farmer' and man I so agree with EVERY WORD you said. I got a birthday coming up this month July 31st and my girl has been asking what I want and I think your book would be the perfect gift ... anywayz thanks for the reply Jack and you're definitely the man when it comes to these dogs..I wish I'd met you when I first got into the game. FatBill got me started but he's not the same guy anymore and I don't have a thing to say to him. Take care Jack and I can't wait to get your book."
