We have a pup we sold recently and when we got our pup back (it's in our puppy contract) within 18 hours we realized he was never given his 2nd or 3rd round of shots and was diagnosed with PARVO. Instead of leaving him at the vet for recovery @ $90 a day with a 50% chance(VETS words not mine) we decided to bring him home and treat him ourselves. "Hello Jack, Josh Welch here. As you know I ordered your little black book from you. Wow, what a great book you have there. I think it should be a mandatory read for any dog owner. Thank you for writing such a great book, and sharing some of your knowledge and experience with those of us who are seriously trying to learn about raising and breeding dogs. For the last ten years I have been working with a line of hounds that has been heavily line bred for performance and hunting. The problem now being the breeder behind these dogs that has ben breeding them and improving them for the last 40 years has passed away. I am trying to keep this line going and improving it where I can. We are at the point where we are getting uniform litters both physically and mentally. We do want to improve on the nose power a little more, so there is still some work to be done. This book has been a godsend to me I want to thank you very much for the book.
