I am a fellow arachnoculturist and herpetoculturist offering mostly Florida wild-caught specimens to the fancy. I moved here to Florida from Nashville, TN and I now live on 49 acres of prime Florida wilderness, and I have a veritable treasure trove of native Florida wild-caught animals to offer. The area I live in has some wonderful color phases of many native Florida species. So if it is a Florida-native species you seek, then I can probably obtain a wild-caught specimen for you of a quality level you probably won't see elsewhere. (Yes, all of the photos you see were taken by me, and many of them are of animals actually found on my property or obtained by road-cruising in local counties.)
This website gets updated frequently, as the animals I have get sold and as I continue to find new specimens. All of the specimens I have listed on my website (exclusive of the tarantulas) are animals that are endemic to my area, and this includes the mantids listed as well as all of the true spiders. Florida law states I may 'export' mantids, but I may not import any, so please do not ask to 'trade' mantid species as I cannot legally do this. There is also a strict code on wolf spiders as well, so the wolf spiders I offer are also all Florida-native species too. When looking at the species pages, if you see an active ("green") link this means I have the animal now, so click on it and you will be able to view the specimen. If the animal species is "listed" on my page, but there is no active "green" link to it, this simply means I do not have a representative of this species at the present time.
If I do not have a representative of what you are looking for at the moment, but if you really have your heart set on that particular specimen, let me know and I will make it a point to obtain one for you (at a previously-agreed-upon price). Naturally, for me to go out and look for an animal for you specifically, I require a 50% deposit down, and the order must be a $200 minimum order to make it worth my time. This deposit is NOT refundable (provided I CAN get you the animal you are looking for). I guarantee any specimen I locate and offer you will be healthy, feeding, and parasite-free BEFORE I even ask for the balance and send you the animal. Once I obtain an individual specimen of what you are looking for, I will email you some clear photographs to you, so you can approve its looks. Once the animal meets with your approval, I will confirm the good health of the specimen, make sure it is feeding, and then send you the animal once the balance is paid. If, for some reason, I cannot obtain the wild-caught specimen for you, then of course your deposit will be refunded. However, you would have to agree to give me 30 days to either locate the animal or to refund your deposit.
Also, just to make your own shipping costs worthwhile, as well as to make any transaction worth my own time and effort, I ask that all customers please place a $50 Minimum Order (not including shipping) on specimens I have in stock. Again, on any "special order" where I am specifically commissioned to obtain a particular specimen, I ask for a $200 minumum order (not including shipping). And, yes, of course you can select from many species to fulfill the minimum order requirement :)
In closing for now, I appreciate your interest, your business, and I welcome any questions you may have.
